Notice to Residents of the State of CaliforniaThis section supplements the remainder of this Privacy Policy and (a) applies solely to residents of the State of California (“California Residents”) to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, the “CCPA”) applies to our processing of the Personal Information of such California Residents, and (b) serves as the “Notice at Collection” required by the CCPA. When used in this Privacy Policy, the term “Personal Information” has the same meaning as the term “personal information” under the CCPA. Personal Information does not include aggregated or de-identified information, or any other information the CCPA excludes from its scope. Our statement above that “We will not sell your Personal Information” includes any actions that meet the definition of a “sale” of personal information under the CCPA with respect to California Residents. Likewise, we also will not “share” California Residents’ Personal Information, as that term is defined under the CCPA. Under the CCPA, and as further described below, each with respect to the immediately previous 12 months, California Residents have the right to request from a business with whom they have an established business relationship certain information with respect to the types and categories of personal information such business collects, the categories of sources from which such personal information is collected, the purpose for which such personal information is collected, the categories and identities of third parties with whom such business shares such personal information for direct marketing purposes by such third party, and the specific pieces of personal information collected.
We will honor verified requests to exercise the rights the CCPA provides to California Residents regarding their personal information, and we will not discriminate against California Residents in any manner prohibited by applicable law for exercising such rights. Upon request, we will provide California Residents with information about our collection and use of their personal information over the last 12 months, including categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about them, our business purpose(s) for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. California Residents may request that we delete any personal information we have collected about them. This right is not absolute, however, and under some circumstances we may decline to delete such personal information as permitted by the CCPA. We do not sell personal information to third parties in exchange for money. However, as set forth above, we share certain personal information with certain third parties, including Amway and IBOs. Under the CCPA, this exchange may be considered a “sale” or “sharing,” and as such, California Residents have the right to opt out of any such “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
California Residents can exercise their rights under the CCPA as described above by writing to us at Leadership Team Development, Inc., 3209-153 Gresham Lake Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27615, USA, calling us at 1 (877) 785-8347, or e-mailing us at support@ltdhq.com. Please provide sufficient detail to us in any such communication in order for us to properly assess and respond. We may be unable to respond to incomplete or vague requests, and we reserve the right to not respond to requests generated through third party applications or automated processes without direct validation of such requests by individual California Residents.
We will require a California Resident to verify their identity before proceeding with a request as described above. Further, any requests made by an individual acting on a California Resident’s behalf will require verification of the subject California Resident, the individual acting on such California Resident’s behalf, and a valid power of attorney under which the subject California Resident granted agency status to the representative making the request. Any such verification may require the subject California Resident or their representative to provide one or more forms of valid government identification.

You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the accuracy or any other aspect of the content of any websites we do not own, operate or control. You expressly acknowledge and agree that your accessing the links to any such third party websites is at your own risk and subject to the applicable privacy policies and terms and conditions of such third party websites. We encourage you to be aware whenever you leave the Sites and to read the privacy statements of each third party website to which we may link and that may collect your information.
ChildrenThe Sites are not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected the Personal Information of a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete such Personal Information as soon as possible. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit your e-mail address or any other Personal Information to us through the Sites.
Notification of ChangesWe reserve the right to change or replace this Privacy Policy at our sole discretion, and at any time. Such changes, which may include additions or deletions, shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Sites. Your continued use of any of the Sites after any such changes are posted will be deemed to constitute your agreement to and acceptance of such changes and the revised Privacy Policy. We will clearly include the date that this Privacy Policy was last updated and is effective.
